To prepare a large thermos (1L) of Arabic coffee: Boil 1 ½ L water in a big pot Reduce the heat then add 9 tbsp of Arabic coffee Bring back to a boil and simmer for 5 minutes Turn off the heat and allow coffee to settle for1 hour Pour through a fine strainer Reheat back to a boiling point then pour into a thermos Add cardamom accordingly (optional)
