Coffee Preparation
Turkish Coffee
To serve 2 coffee cups:
- Bring 250ml (9 oz) of water to boil
- Remove from heat and add 3 teaspoons and sugar to taste
- Reduce heat and simmer
- Stir gently, move away from heat to avoid boiling over
- Repeat the above step once or twice
- Serve and enjoy
Arabic Coffee
To prepare a large thermos (1L) of Arabic coffee:
- Boil 1 ½ L water in a big pot
- Reduce the heat then add 9 tbsp of Arabic coffee
- Bring back to a boil and simmer for 5 minutes
- Turn off the heat and allow coffee to settle for1 hour
- Pour through a fine strainer
- Reheat back to a boiling point then pour into a thermos
- Add cardamom accordingly (optional)
Arabic Instant Coffee:
- Empty one sachet’s contents in a 1L thermos
- Add 1 liter of boiling water
- Allow the coffee to rest for 7 minutes
- Serve and enjoy!
French Coffee
To serve 4 small coffee cups:
- Bring 350ml (12 oz) of water to boil
- Remove from heat and add 5-6 teaspoons and sugar to taste
- Reduce heat and simmer
- Stir gently, move away from heat to avoid boiling over
- Repeat the above step once or twice
- Serve and enjoy

Filter Coffee Machine:
- Water: 2 Cups (150 ml each)
- Coffee: 1.5 heaped tablespoon (10g)
French Press:
- Water: 240 ml
- Coffee: 1.5 heaped tablespoon (10g)
